CHELYAN, W.Va.–Five activists with Mountain Justice and RAMPS (Radical Action for Mountain Peoples’ Survival) have boarded and locked themselves to a coal barge on the Kanawha River.  They have a banner that says “Coal leaves, cancer stays.”

As of 10:30 a.m., the police are on scene.
